About Pop-up Blockers

Please be advised that when editing certain sections of your records within RASCAL it will be necessary to turn off any pop-up blockers that may exist within your browser.

Pop-up blockers are pieces of software that have been designed to prevent unwanted advertisements and distracting browser windows. Pop-up blockers can exist as settings native to your browser and can also exist as browser plug-ins & add-ons.

It is possible to have multiple pop-up blockers turned on simultaneously. Additionally, it is possible for a pop-up blocker to dictate its own settings without user intervention and without warning or notification.

The following is a list of some common pop-up blockers:

  • Internet Explorer 6.0 +
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Netscape 7.1 +
  • Safari (Mac OS 10 +)
  • Google Toolbar
  • Yahoo! Toolbar

Thank you,
The RASCAL Team
